Anne Elizabeth Moore is the Head Adventurer in Charge of Adventuring Studies and Proprietress of the Adventure School for Ladies. The three-time winner of the Anne Elizabeth Moore Award for Excellence in Awesomeness has been ejected from retail establishments and lauded by princesses, and received a Fulbright Specialist Award to continue her self-publishing work with young women in Cambodia. After editing The Comics Journal, Punk Planet, and the Best American Comics series for Houghton Mifflin, Moore turned her attention to gender, race, and economic disparity in comics and other media with the popular comics journalism series Ladydrawers on Truthout. She also reports on the garment industry and has a surprisingly active conceptual art career.
